GRADUATION CAKE!


College Graduation 
Each layer of this cake, and by that I mean book, has a different filling. The cake is chocolate, the filling is Bavarian Cream mixed with different intervals of banana, strawberry, and chocolate chip. Frosting is Butter-cream covered in my home made fondant.


This cake was made for my youngest son Daniel. Congratulations Honey! All of the books represent his main courses.

RAIN FOREST CUP CAKES

 These are vanilla cup-cakes, made with a citrus flavored blue butter cream frosting. I added chocolate ganache as a filling in each cup-cake then added Fondant jungle animals to decorate each top.

Not Everything is Fondant!!
This cake was made for my husband Tom. He loves German Chocolate cake, so that is what I made him. This cake melts in your mouth, its so good. 

There is a little fondant, and that shows in the USA Flag, the Canadian Leaf, (my hubby is Canadian-American) the green apples and even the Lance Armstrong band running across the cake. These are all the things that my sweetheart Tom loves.

Sea Shell by the Sea Shore

All the shells on this cake are made out of pure chocolate.  The flower and everything else is made from fondant.

Barn Yard Birthday Cake

This cake was actually made for my Grand-daughter Michelle for her Sweet 16 birthday. She is an active member of FFA at her high school and wanted a theme cake to represent what she loves most....pigs and other barn animals!! At this party I made extra cupcakes as samples so that each teenager attending could also make their own version of a barn animal. The results were really creative...!

FIESTA CHRISTMAS CAKE AND BROWNIES

 Fiesta Christmas Party


I made this cake for a Christmas celebration. The small packages are fondant wrapped brownies. The tree cake is a lemon cake. Notice the mustaches, chili peppers, sombreros, and maracas, decorating the tree. This was a really cake to make for a really fun party to throw!

CARS 2 INSPIRED CAKE

This is the sculpture in its painting phase.


All but the car is edible here. The orange cones, dirt, cactus, rocks and even the tires can be eaten on this cake! 

The car itself I sculpted out of clay, as a special keepsake for a very special boy.


The cake is Chocolate with lemon cream-cheese filling.

GIR AND THE INVADER ZIM!


This cake was so much fun to do, and was inspired by a favorite cartoon of my grand-daughters',  Julianna. Everything on this cake is edible, including the pink and white tiles!

ALICE IN WONDERLAND BABY SHOWER




This was done for a baby shower. Everything but the teapot and cup perched atop it is edible. Little baby Alice will have the keepsake for ever!!

These little cakes feed up to ten to twelve guest. The flowers were made with fondant, but the rest of the cake was made with chocolate ganache and Bavarian cream filling.

ROYAL DISNEY PRINCESS CASTLE CAKE

 

 DISNEY Princess Cake Everything but the Princesses are edible on this cake. I sculpted each Princess out of clay for the birthday girl to have as her Keepsakes. 

The cake itself stood over 2 feet tall! Rice crispy was used for the towers, but everything else is cake.

Adam's Fifth Birthday

This was a Chocolate Cake with butter-cream frosting and Chocolate filling. I make my own Marsh-mellow fondant to cover and decorate each cake. Everything is edible on this cake....even the hockey pucks!!
