Hand painted Humming Bird Cake

I used food color as my paint, then panted the bird right on to the white fondant used as a canvas.

 Gum paste pink flowers and fondant overlay.

This cake was made for a very special ladies birthday.

Its chocolate cake and frosting.

This cake was made for two sweethearts. Its a Reeses chocolate cake with ganache filling. The dragon fly is made from gum paste.

RETIREMENT COMPUTER CAKE

  Carrot cake and buttercream with fondant accents!  The computer is made with a combo of fondant and gum paste to give it sturdiness. There was a lot of imagination from my customer going into this. The bluebird carrying golden cufflinks represents her freedom from work. And of course the dynamite speaks for itself!!
